Các nguyên nhân gây viêm sưng hạch khá phức tạp, có thể do nhiễm khuẩn, virus, ký sinh trùng, nấm hoặc do ung thư.
Bác sĩ sẽ xem xét tình huống xuất hiện của hạch, số lượng, kích thước, độ chắc, độ nhạy cảm, di động dưới da, có biểu hiện viêm cấp tính (sưng, nóng, đỏ) hay không, tình trạng hạch ở các vị trí khác và dấu hiệu đi kèm. Những yếu tố này cùng với các xét nghiệm sẽ giúp xác định bệnh.
Trên thực tế, nguyên nhân gây hạch thường nằm ở vùng lân cận. Đó là hiện tượng viêm hạch phản ứng do các tổn thương không đặc hiệu (các vết thương nhiễm trùng, mụn nhọt, bệnh ngoài da, viêm nhiễm đường hô hấp trên, viêm răng lợi, viêm tai). Ở các trường hợp này, sau khi được điều trị khỏi bệnh, hạch sẽ tự biến mất trong vòng 1-2 tháng.
Trường hợp của anh, có thể hạch nổi là do viêm chân răng gây nhiễm trùng gây nên. Nhưng để chắc chắn, anh hãy đi khám để có được những chẩn đoán chính xác nhất.
Nếu thực sự là do viêm chân răng gây nên hạch, anh cần phải được điều trị hết yếu tố nhiễm trùng ở vùng chân răng này.
